Memorial Trees for War Dead

At a service at the Memorial Hall, Kingston on Sunday afternoon trees were planted in memory of former members of the Kingborough sub-branch of the Returned Servicemen’s League.
The Rev V H C Gill dedicated the Memorial Avenue where trees in memory of deceased members of the first executive sub-committee of the Kingston sub-branch were planted.
The members were Messrs B Mason, G Douglas, J Rollins, D Fogarty, and V Donovan.

Undated Mercury held in AWM N/C279 Clippings.
By appearance it would seem to be from the 1950s.
